Delta Costco Display

Costco offered Delta an opportunity to present their Breez humidity-sensing bathroom fans in select stores. We conceived a compact sheet metal display that holds a demo fan that can be powered on. Since the fans are so quiet (a major differentiator for Delta), a ribbon is attached to the exhaust showing that the fan is, in fact, on. A power switch is included for customer interaction. Feature Benefit information is screened on the front face, along with the Delta logo and url. The Display is designed to sit either on a shelf, above stacked product, or directly on palletized product. Integrated lift handles on the sides facilitate moving the displays.

Challenge

As an emerging leader in the exhaust fan market, Delta Products needed a compact, cost-effective way to present its Breezwall product in the Mexican market. The display is fashioned from powdercoated steel in the client's signature blue color with the Delta logo prominently screened along the top. A demo fan is mounted and wired to an on-off switch allowing a retailer or customer to turn the fan on and experience how quiet it is. A decal affixed next to the switch conveys product feature benefit information.

Delta Breezwall Countertop Display

These displays offer an ideal blend of compact size, product information, and product demonstration. It fits well in the often-crowded retail environments for which it is intended. And it provides a durable, long-lasting solution.

Challenge

Delta Products makes fans of all shapes and sizes – for servers, laptops, desktops…and bathrooms. As an emerging player in the home improvement market, they needed a way to display their bathroom exhaust fans and demonstrate how quiet they are. They asked us to design a Countertop Display that could accommodate any of their 3 sizes of fans. The Display also needed to be wall-mountable, or mount to an optional floor standing pedestal. The fans needed to be "live", so that they could be turned on and off. Other requirements included easily updated feature benefit information and a Brochure Holder.

Delta Fan Display

The powder coated steel and acrylic display achieves all its objectives. It presents the fan at an appealing angle with open sides that show the fan's profile. A ribbon attached above the exhaust shows that the fan is actually On – not easy to tell since the fans are so quiet. The pedestal holds back stock. The Displays can be used individually or in an array on an end cap. The Displays were distributed to home improvement centers nationwide.
