Challenge
Drift is a rapidly growing brand of high performance, high quality point of view cameras. To help carve out a space in an increasingly crowded category, they turned to Concept Designs to design high visibility, high impact displays to present their products.
We designed this Countertop Display to complement Drift's previously designed Floor Standing Display. This smaller display holds one boxed demo camera. Demo video is played on an 8" monitor that includes integrated playback from an SD card. The demo camera is tethered to the display with a security cable that inserts through a hole in one corner of the unique packaging.
Drift Countertop Display
This smaller Countertop Display was a welcome addition to the Drift display family, as it offered an alternative for stores with limited floor space. Both the Floor Standing and Countertop Displays are being distributed throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
Challenge
Drift is a rapidly growing brand of high performance, high quality point of view cameras. To help carve out a space in this increasingly crowded category, they turned to Concept Designs to design a high visibility, high impact display to present their products.
We designed a Floor Standing Display that includes a 22" high def TV, an industrial quality video playback unit, and space for both cameras and accessories. Six cameras are held in diamond shaped pockets, designed specifically to accommodate the unique Drift packaging. The cameras are secured with retracting cables that thread through holes in one corner of the packages. Accessories are hung below the cameras and are illuminated by a hidden LED strip.
Drift Floorstanding Display
The initial roll out of cameras and displays exceeded expectations, as retailers welcomed the new brand and consumers embraced the advanced features. The displays make a strong statement, establishing Drift as a major player in a fast-growing category.
